As a visitor from Albany NY, I am happy to see a quality movie theater with a per show ticket price of less than $12. The concessions pricing is 1/3 less expensive as compared to Albany, the seating is intimate and relaxing. & they use real butter on their popcorn.
This is a great theater!
Great selection of movies (new releases, independent, foreign, etc.), close to home, not too expensive. I'm always surprised that they don't ask my age before assuming I'm a senior (which by their criterion, I am).
You know!!!!!! It is the last week of vacation. I wish that we could have at least ONE show to watch in between shopping and eating. Cool to be upscale!!!! Great to be suburban but try to remember that "Kids" are part of the upscale and suburban "kind" of people that spend their money on your theater. NOT COOL!!!!!!!
Great theater. I love that it shows artsy and non-mainstream films. It also has 3D capability. It was the only theater in the area to show "Cave of Forgotten Dreams" and only one of two that has been showing "Tree of Life". Pittsford Plaza Cinema 9 has more comfortable seating than it's artsy competition. I also find the general people that attend this theater to be more polite and friendly.
My only complaint is that there isn't a phone number to get a manager or non-recording. Needed to contact theater because of item lost and my only option was an email or go over there in person.
A greatly located movie theatre, with shoppes and eateries right 'round the corner. Grab a book at the two story Barnes and Nobles, search for your daughters new pair of leggings at Justice, and grab a quick bite at Camilles before meeting your wife at the movie theater. Afterwards treat yourself and indulge in a bloody brilly ice cream delicacy at Cold Stone Creamery (I believe it's not Stonecold Creamery, as the man before me commented). Go home feeling fantastic and rewarded for your great find.
A suburban theater in upscale Pittsford, NY. Plenty of parking but on the weekends go early and be prepared for crowds. Conveniently located near several national brand restaurants including Cheesecake Factory, Applebees, Moes, Five Guys, Stonecold Creamery, Black & Blue, and local faves Brio, Benuccis, Camilles, and others. Ticket prices are lower than the "big box" mall cineplexes; nine screens play studio and indie films. Stadium seating available.
